Centerpoint Facilitation Inc. specializes in training, facilitation and consultation. We work with individuals, organizations and businesses using Person-Centered Approaches to increase productivity and quality of life in the workplace and at home.
Bringing People Together
A business wanted to develop a Strategic Plan.
Centerpoint facilitated this organization through a process to develop vision and mission statements. We then worked with the business to establish goals and objectives. From there we worked together to develop a concrete action plan.
The business now has a strategic plan to work on over the next year. Goals and outcomes have been clearly identified and progress can be easily monitored.
Due to a high rate of staff turnover, the team of a non-profit agency was not working cohesively.
Centerpoint was asked to come and conduct Team Building exercises. The training focused on what is important to the team and how they want to support each other. The training allowed for ongoing team development and easily led into other relevant training, such as Person-Centered Thinking, Positive and Productive Meetings and Person-Centered Supervision.
The Team expressed newfound understanding of each other and noted that they were able to support each other as a Team in new ways. Conflict was reduced within the Team. Work production increased.
Person Centered Planning
One of the people that is supported under Housing First was about to lose their housing and the people who support them were unsure what to do next.
Centerpoint invited all people who support this person in any capacity, including family and friends to attend a Person Centered Plan.
Through the input and discussion of everyone involved, by having a structured way to work through a process and put the person first, a solution was found for this person to keep their housing. Action steps were developed in order to maintain the housing long term.
